Car Rental Insurance reimburses charges from the car rental company in the event the car is damaged or stolen during your rental period due to covered reasons including collision and theft.
The cost of coverage is often less than that charged by similar plans offered by car rental companies.
What’s covered? Expenses charged by the rental car company for repair fees and loss-of-use fees in the event your rental car is stolen or damaged. Benefits are paid to a maximum of $35,000, with a $250 deductible.
Plan coverage is primary, meaning that you do not have to claim payment from any other insurance plan before receiving coverage under this plan. This is important since sometimes personal auto insurance rates will increase upon filing a claim with them.
Please note that the maximum car rental duration is 6 months and that certain exotic cars, as listed in the Description of Coverage, are not covered under the terms of this policy.
